What to Expect
Before your visit, remove any makeup. If you have a certain colour scheme or freckle pattern in mind, feel free to bring over some photos to work from. In order to design your freckle tattoo, our artist will first pre-mark the spots. At every stage, we will talk with our client to make sure everything is correct and to choose where to apply the freckles or beauty marks. Before and during the procedure, we are able to use a topical anesthetic to help maintain your comfort level.
Most people who get freckles or beauty spot tattoos heal very quickly. At first, freckles that have just been tattooed will look darker and more elevated. In five to ten days, the freckles will start to peel off after they have turned into small scabs. The colour will gradually shift to a softer shade over the next three months.
If your skin type is normal, the ink might last between a year and three years. The dots may look less concentrated on oily skin when it heals and may need yearly touch-ups.
